What is collected
Product analytics. The site loads PostHog to count page views and a handful of deliberate events — which project links get opened, which contact link gets clicked, which language a visit is read in. Requests go to a first-party path on this domain (/ingest) that forwards to PostHog, so no third-party analytics host sees the visit directly. What PostHog records is the page URL, the referrer, an approximate location derived from the IP address, the browser and device type, and an anonymous identifier held in the browser. No name, no email address and no account is attached to any of it, because the site never asks for one.
One preference cookie. Choosing English or Spanish writes a lang-pref cookie that lasts a year and is read on the next visit to open the site in the same language. It holds the two letters of that choice and nothing else. Clearing it returns the site to detecting a language from the request.
Server logs. The site is served by Vercel and sits behind Cloudflare. Both keep short-lived operational logs — IP address, user agent, requested path, response status — for delivery, caching and abuse prevention. Those logs belong to the respective provider and are governed by its own policy.
What is never collected
There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, no comment thread and no login, so no personal data is submitted to this site at any point. No payment information is handled here. No advertising network, retargeting pixel, session recorder or cross-site tracker is loaded on any page. Nothing collected is sold, rented or shared with anyone for marketing.
Email you send
Writing to lucas@lucasleguizamo.com sends an ordinary email that lands in a mailbox hosted by Google. Its contents and address are kept only as long as the conversation is useful, and are used for nothing but replying to it. Asking for that thread to be deleted is enough to have it deleted.
Your choices
Blocking analytics is enough to opt out entirely: the site loses a counter and loses nothing else — every page works identically with scripts disabled, because the content is rendered on the server. Browser-level tracking protection, an extension or a Do Not Track setting all have that effect. Clearing site data removes the language cookie and the analytics identifier together.
For anything the law entitles you to ask — access, correction, deletion, a copy, or an objection to the processing — write to the address below. Requests are answered directly and normally within a few days; no account or proof of purchase is needed, because there is none to prove.
Agents and automated readers
This site is meant to be read by software as well as by people. Every page serves a Markdown representation to any client that asks for it with an Accept: text/markdown header, and the machine-readable summary at /llms.txt says what the site covers and when an agent should reach for it. Crawling those is allowed within the terms of /robots.txt; nothing about an automated visit is treated differently from a human one, and no data beyond the server logs described above is retained from it.
